A brief history of the Magni.

The bike was acquired as a genuine Arturo Magni machine in the late 80's and took to Arturo Magni to convert into a race type Magni in the early 90's . It was specifically built with Phil Read in mind , so it has quality braking via brembo gold callipers. The motor was worked on by Mr Magni in the early days, and Phil Read campaigned ( not raced)this machine at numerous parades/demonstration laps throughout England and Europe. It has been looked after, and slightly modified throughout the years, generally by Dave and Mark Kay. it is a formidable and perhaps the ultimate track bike that has huge amounts of torque.

Phil has ridden this machine at:- Montlhery,Dijon, Vallelunga in Italy, Monza, Spain, Brands Hatch, Beaulieu , Castle Coombe, Olivers Mount Scarborough, Cadwell Park, Donnington Park, Pembury, Goodwood, Silverstone, The Ulster GP and the Isle of man TT Classic Parade.

It has been used at all the above tracks on numerous occasions. It has been serviced, oil changed , filters etc and is ready to ride instantly.
